2 stars because the writing is quality and the story has a good pace. I just couldn't do more because I did NOT like the ending. At all. I feel like I must be in the minority based on other reviews, but I cannot get on board with the crap-tastic story line in this book.

Garrett: I have been on board with his journey until it is revealed he has romantic feelings for Emma. It was random, weird, and seemed forced. Emma is a good character and comes across as a nice, likable woman, but she isn't 3 men in love with her at the same time good. It was ridiculous.

James V. Dane: This was drug out way to long. Throughout the series James is portrayed as the love of Emma's life. Dane is wonderful, but he isn't as epic as James's love story. I always felt like Dane' s love story was being forced in a particular direction. It's like James was dead so someone else HAD to make Emma love again. I didn't mind Dane being in love with Emma. He is a likable character. I did hate the development of James's and Emma's connection by this book. It was built up so much in the first book to just be dumped on by the end. It wasn't an organic ending. It felt like Emma's memory loss was a ploy just make her end up with Dane. No memories of an entire lifetime with James has to leave the court wide open for Dane.

Allegiant/fight scenes were awesome! Gripping, good read in this sections.

This felt very much like Charlaine Harris's terrible Sookie Stackhouse ending where the entire series plot has been thrown in the trash in order to achieve a particular end which doesn't mesh with the beginnings of the story. I almost quit reading at chapter 22, but I made myself finish it.

Im not a writer, It hard for me to put into words just how amazing this series really is! I laughed, cried, and was left with such feeling )
I have read many books since reading "The Guarding Trilogy" and I STILL miss them.
Its one of those books (trilogy) that never really leaves you!

I loved this series so much!! This book started out a little slow and I was afraid of how it was going and I would be disappointed, but NO!! About half way through I couldn't put it down and had to go to work with only a couple of hours of sleep because of it. I love how things went but I hope there is another book because it needed just another little push with Dane. I wanted to see a little more of Dane and the supernatural.
I love this book series. Hated to see it end! Very entertaining and I got very involved with the characters. Highly recommend this book and the others in this seires!
I would recommend this series to anyone! I loved the romance and the love triangle and the paranormal. None of it was over the top and I felt like the paranormal was explained well. I thought the storylines ended perfectly but I would love to know more, even if it was just a follow up novella a few years down the road. The writing is perfection and the editing was too. I can't wait to read another book by Sara Mack.
If you read Guardian and Allegiant, you're probably not busy skimming reviews for Reborn. You've most likely rushed to buy your own copy and enjoy more of it. So rather than summarize, I'll only say that I was thrilled with the ending to this series. James and Emma made me cry. Dane and Emma require a fan, and I hold them responsible for nearly overheating my . Garrett, you're one of the best characters that I've ever had the privilege of getting to know. Really.
Actually I bought the first book in the series by accident while looking for the same title by a different author. As a former librarian I'll read anything. I hate the new trend to break a story down into 3 books when one would do----just to sell more copies. However the Reborn Series would be great for young adults.
If you enjoy a little paranormal love story then you will enjoy this book/series. For a topic that has been saturated with novels lately, this one is completely unique! I was hooked by the first chapter and read all three books in the series in just 2 days!! The author describes the characters and situations so well that I find myself loving and hating some of them! Warning This series end in cliff hangers... but the entire series is out, so don't sweat it! I think the ending of this book was spot on and I hated to see it end. The feelings Sara Mack was able to provoke with her words made me live in Emma's world these past few days! I started to hate some characters while yelling at Emma to run towards a certain someone! Great read!
