A post apocalypitc story of a young man struggling against the role he is being forced to play in society by a controlling government. The premise was good and the author does a god job of not revealing too much, letting you discover the plot as you go along. Unfortunately it feels liek there is no plot.The characters are drawn into a video game that is supposed to show them how the world became the way it is but it seems disjointed and random as the story unfolds. I found the characters to bee iconsistent with their supposed genetic and environmental programming and the society filled with contradications. I struggled to figure out what the author was trying to accomplish but I think it was to surprise the reader with the origins of the current world society. However the telling left me uninterested in what happens next and the story felt full of holes. This one has potential but fell short of the mark.
