This book tells the story of my almost 20-year marriage to a sociopath, and how the experience permanently changed my life and changed who I am. For a long time, I have wanted to write about the truth of what happened to me, everything that led to losing my six children, so this book is a dream that has been a long time in becoming realized. It is not just a book about being married to a sociopath, though. My story also includes incest, domestic violence, drug abuse, drug dealing, and parental alienation, which the courts are finally now recognizing as a very real and harmful form of abuse--both to the children involved as well as the parent who is being alienated. It is my sincere hope that my story will give strength to anyone suffering at the hands of another to speak up, get out, set boundaries, and demand the respect they deserve, because I finally have.

Very eye opening and sad.
A most read another book coming out as this one stopped in 2010 then from 2010 to 2017 married another sociopath. I am not in good health so might not finish but will try with all of me. I have cyroshis of the liver shutting down.
Excellent read!!! It's hard to put down once you start reading it. Such a tragic story of a woman who was so mistreated and misunderstood.
A real page turner. Could not put down. Very well written true story about a woman who was abused most of her life and the amazing way she percerviered the experience and still has internal scars do to it. Christine should write more
This is a well written manuscript that gave me insite on how a person endures many obstacles to love their children. It also enlightens you to the fact that the legal system is not always fair. It's to bad that the ending was not a fairy tale one. The world in many cases is hard on people and this book describes one example of that.
